Watch this compelling speech by Columbia Professor Shai Davidai. Yes, there are Nazis among us, but they no longer organize in beer halls:
"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." (Pls note: This is a comedy site and I am a comedian, so don't take anything here seriously. It's all in jest, haha. For entertainment purposes only!)

Netanyahu Derangement Syndrome
It's one thing for Barack Obama, peace be upon him, to deliberately misstate Netanyahu's position on a Palestinian state. It's another thing entirely for the entire US media to fall in lock step with Obama's deception. Today's Wall Street Journal front page story is just the latest example: "Netanyahu Reverses on Statehood Again".
Obama's reason is simple. He's been stabbing Israel in the back all along. By misstating Netanyahu's position, he is trying to provide cover for his upcoming treachery against Israel, with Iran and at the UN. Why the media goes along with this is not as clear.

An Open Letter from Benjamin Netanyahu to The American People
Dear America,
I too share your desire for peace. Like you, I am tired of the seemingly endless cycle of
violence. It gets to the point
where no one can even tell you where it all began. And certainly each side has its own version of history!
I have a unique proposal that will once and for all put and
end to this conflict. Of course,
some hard choices will have to be made.
I know I can trust the American people to hear me out, and give this
some careful thought. If we agree
that peace is the desired outcome, and that neither side has been able to
secure it yet, what choice do we have but to try something new? Doing the same thing and expecting a
different result is the very definition of insanity, right?
Let’s look at some of the elements we can all agree on
before getting into the specifics:
- Both sides believe their positions are justified and worth fighting for.
- One side has the military might, and the other suffers disproportionate casualties.
- Both sides would like to exist and govern themselves in a manner to their liking.
- The international community has put its faith in “land for peace” as an appropriate solution.
In light of the above, I do recommend swapping land to allow
the nation-less to establish their own self-governed nation. The new nation would be free to pursue
all the freedoms enjoyed by nations everywhere: they will be able to arm and defend themselves, they will be
free to trade with other nations, they can make and produce all the things they currently produce and disseminate. They would be free to establish Sharia Law if they
please. We may not agree with the
things they produce, what they disseminate, or how they treat others, but it
would be their country, ruled by them, sovereign, free, and independent.
There are already examples of Muslims living peacefully with
non-Muslims all over the world.
Several such examples are already right in your own country. Dearborn, Michigan is sometimes
referred to as “Dearbornistan” owing to its majority Muslim population. There are similar examples throughout
the US in numerous states.
Perhaps the best example is Illinois, which has more Muslims per capita
than any other state, and no one thinks of Illinois as a terror
state!
Once established, this new state would be a beacon for
like-minded people to immigrate to and live in peace, free of the oppression
they currently experience thanks to the endless conflict. Bombings, raids, drone attacks,
captures, prisons, -war itself - will no longer be an imperative! I know this will not be easy, but it
must be done and it must be done now!
Therefore, I believe Illinois would be the perfect place to
establish the new state of “al Qaedastan”, or if you prefer, “ISIS” (Islamic
State of Illinois and Syria”), a two-state solution, which will
once-and-for-all end the violence.
Finally, America and al Qaeda, living side-by-side in peace. Join me America, and stop this madness
now!
Sincerely,
Benjamin Netanyahu
Prime Minister, Israel
P.S. A majority of The UN has already endorsed this
proposal. This must be done at
once if the US hopes to remain among the community of nations.
P.P.S. I also believe that Khalid Sheik Muhammad, the
political prisoner currently in your custody, should be freed like Nelson
Mandela, and would likely rise to lead the new nation of al Qaedastan. Furthermore, I have taken the liberty
to nominate KSM to the Nobel Committee for consideration for the
peace prize. As expected, they are
onboard 100%!

Healthcare Palestinians II
Republicans are split. Some think Obamacare is a disaster. Others think Obamacare is a disaster. Oh wait...
Of course the split is about what to do. Some say if Obamacare is a disaster the responsible thing to do is to stop it, or at least go down trying. Others say, no, no, no, the right thing to do is let it go through, make everyone miserable, kill innovation in the fast moving health sector, make the country even more dependent on Fed money printing, put more people on welfare and subsidies, politicize and socialize 16% of the US economy, install the IPAB (Independent Payment Advisory Board - aka the "Death Panel"), drag down personal wealth, kill jobs, stall the economy, and don't worry the public will blame it all on Democrats! In other words, one group is acting out of principle and the other out of crass political gamesmanship.
But there is a problem with the crass political gamesmanship approach. It will not work. There are numerous prominent examples of how these political bank-shots backfire. I call this the "Healthcare Palestinian" approach. To wit:
Israel's neighbors have long believed that the best way to destroy Israel is to maintain an army of angry Palestinian refugees on their borders. Keep them poor, keep them in refugee camps, keep them oppressed, and don’t ever let them assimilate into the vast Arab lands surrounding Israel. To a frightening extent this diabolical and inhumane scheme has worked to create maximum misery but little else. The Palestinians in refugee camps are mainly the ones who go around blowing themselves up, not the ones who have assimilated into Israel and the Arab countries. Everyone knows about the wall keeping hostile Palestinians from flooding into Israel. Very few are aware that there are similar impediments keeping Palestinians out of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria. Do those countries ever get blamed for forcing Palestinians into refugee camps? This has been the Democrat strategy when it comes to healthcare.
The last thing Democrats ever wanted was a true functioning individual market for health insurance. Instead Democrats have forced most Americans, 95% currently, into rigid, non-portable, bureaucratic insurance plans provided by either the government or their bosses. The move to a true individual market would have always been an easy one (see "The Healthcare Gecko"). But that's not what Democrats wanted lest they lose control. We have all been made into healthcare refugees. Who get's blamed for this? Greedy insurance companies, employers, and Republicans. Republicans are standing in the way of your God-given right to free healthcare! Democrats get zero blame and will continue to get zero blame when Obamacare is found to be the disaster everyone knows a 2700 page unread law will be.
The same exact thing happened with the financial collapse of 2008. Ask ten people today what caused the financial collapse and nine will say greedy banks, deregulation, Bush's tax cuts, capitalism; in other words Republicans. Only one in ten may get it right; the financial collapse was caused by Democrats who pursued redistribution-of-wealth policies in the housing sector. Home ownership became a God-given right, just as healtcare has become now. Subprime mortgages, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, no-doc loans, liar loans, zero down payments, easy money, low interest rates, mortgage interest deductions; these are all unanimous Democrat policies. These are the policies which crashed the financial system. These are the policies championed by Barack Obama as a community organizer, state senator, US senator, candidate for President and POTUS. Did he ever get blamed for any of this? No, nor will he ever. Will he be blamed when Obamacare collapses? No, nor will his party. Democrats are just trying to give you free healthcare after all, which is your right!
Republicans with the exception of the new breed - Cruz, Lee, Paul, Rubio et al, don't even understand why it is impossible to make a good or service provided by others into a right. It cannot be done without enslaving the providers of that good or service. So yeah, let it go into full effect, let it be a disaster, and let the blame all accrue to... Republicans. Seems like a winning approach to me if you're a Democrat.

Healthcare Palestinians
There is a piece in the NYT today about how Jordan is stripping citizenship from long time Jordanians who trace back to pre-Israel Palestine. The Arab countries have long believed that the best way to destroy Israel was to maintain an army of angry Palestinian refugees. Keep them poor, keep them in refugee camps, keep them oppressed, and don’t ever let them assimilate into the vast Arab lands surrounding Israel. To a frightening extent, this diabolical and inhumane scheme has worked wonders and the lesson was not lost on those in the US who seek to destroy any semblance of a free market in healthcare.
For decades, proponents of socialized medicine and enemies of free markets have known that tax policy was twisting the healthcare market into a nefarious monster which forced Americans into employer-paid coverage. They knew we’d be uncomfortably tied to our employer, forever in fear of losing our jobs, angry at insurance companies we did not choose, and unable to insure ourselves. The simple fix of ending employer tax deductions was never to be allowed lest the dream slip away. In short, we were forced into healthcare refugee camps for crass political purposes.
To a frightening extent, this vile scheme has borne fruit and we are about to witness its bitter harvest…

Where Have I Seen This Before?
So Barack Obama wants to sit down with Republicans and talk about healthcare. Thirteen months into his presidency and after shutting them out for the entire time, he wants to open a dialog. What ever happened to: “We won. Sit down. Shut up. We will clean up your mess. But we don’t want to hear from those who made the mess!”? Meanwhile, over at the House, Nancy Pelosi has announced that they are just going to bend some rules and ram the Democrat health bill into law with “reconciliation”, a ploy meant for budgeting and not major social engineering. Meanwhile in the Senate, Harry Reid has his own plan for sneaking his bill into law. This begs the question for Republicans; who is really in charge, and is there a credible partner for negotiating?
All these shenanigans remind me of what Israel goes through with the Palestinians. The Israelis make a deal with the elected leader of the Palestinians, who winks and nods to the militants, and they go and blow up a pizzeria or a bus. This cycle repeats on and on until finally the Israelis realize that there is no point in talking because no one is in charge! But they have to talk, because if they don’t, world opinion will turn on them even more than it already has for being a prosperous nation amidst all that Arab poverty. Besides, they get blown up whether they talk or not, so they might as well talk.
The Republicans, if they stay true to the Constitution and keep winning elections, will have learned a lesson that the Israelis have known for a while; Talk softly, but carry a big friggin’ stick!
