The Skeptics Case For Trump

Six Unconventional Pro-Trump Perspectives

Full disclosure:  I was a #NeverTrump-er before it got a hashtag.   Right after Trump announced, I called him a shock-jock and compared him to Howard Stern.  Later, I made a video parody of Caddyshack featuring Rodney Dangerfield’s character with Donald Trump’s voice.  I considered the whole thing to be good comedy.  Throughout the primaries,  I wrote often about how he was being an obnoxious jerk and was certainly not a conservative.  In short, I never thought Trump would go as far as he has.

But he has, and as the primary wore on, he grew on me.  For one thing, he kept winning.  For another, he was fearless, tenacious, energetic, politically incorrect, and able to think on his feet.   That’s not to say I ever warmed to his demeanor.   Part of me still hasn’t.  I continue to cringe at the personal attacks, the name-calling, the hyperbole.  The difference is, at least now I understand why he does it.

Trump is doing these things deliberately.  There is a method to his madness.   He’s following a game plan he wrote about thirty years ago that he developed for success in business.  Now he’s trying it out on the big stage of national politics.  He’s being far more strategic and consistent than he’s ever given credit for.  Apparently, Donald Trump believes in his strategy enough that he’s devoted himself to it, and is willing to win or lose based on it.

I hope he wins.  I’m ready for a change.

You see, I view this country as being a stage-four cancer patient; we are terminal.   Karl Marx is the most assigned economist at U.S. colleges, and has been for some time.  The government is fully unionized and is the biggest growth industry in the country.  In a blind test, most Americans would prefer the constitution of the old Soviet Union over our own.  Illegal and anchor immigration have permanently skewed our demographics toward third world voting patterns.  Progressive policies have destroyed the family structure in large segments of the population, relegating generations to the pathologies of failure.  And we have appeased aggression around the globe.  Stick a fork in it.  The U.S. as originally founded, on individual rights, free markets, limited government, checks and balances, national security, and rooted in a common moral code, is over.

But like a cancer patient, we must seek all possibilities for remission.   Once in remission, we can hope for a cure.  No single presidency can cure us.  It could take generations.  The best we can hope for is some effective chemotherapy that buys us time.   In this election, Donald Trump, while not a cure, is our best hope for that.  We may get nauseous, we may lose our hair, we may feel drained, but President Trump could mean remission.

Hillary Clinton is metastatic.

Trump on Trump

A good place to start is this whole issue of demeanor.  Why all the personal attacks, the name-calling, the daily controversies, the hyperbole (aka bullshit)?  Many GOP stalwarts are particularly turned-off by Trumps demeanor.  Many women too.  He’s not playing the gentleman’s game of politics they are used to.  While it doesn't make it right, it is by design.

"In most cases I'm very easy to get along with. I'm very good to people who are good to me. But when people treat me badly or unfairly or try to take advantage of me, my general attitude, all my life, has been to fight back very hard."                                                                                                                                                     Donald Trump, “Art of the Deal”, 1987

This “attitude” of his to “fight back very hard” is why he has attacked John McCain, Megyn Kelly, The Khans, and numerous others.  It is an attitude that served him well in the competitive world of Manhattan real estate, but it has gotten him in lots of trouble lately.  It is obviously a risky strategy in national politics.

One reason the attacks have hurt him so badly is that he’s doing it personally.  Trump has had to be his own one-man war-room.  He has a skeleton staff, spends almost no money on negative ads, and lacks even a party to fight for him.  He is waging asymmetrical warfare against a Democrat army.

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has a Pentagon-sized war-room with an army of journalists, p.r. people, surrogates, bloggers, advertising professionals, and a weaponized DNC, who have all been attacking Clinton critics since 1992.  Like Trump, she is “fighting back very hard”, except she’s doing it without a trace of personal involvement.  It’s like her fingerprints have been wiped clean with BleachBit.

One side-note on Trump’s tendency to attack:  He was born at the same time and place as the saying, “nice guys finish last”.  Leo Durocher was the manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers and coined that phrase around the summer of 1946.  Donald Trump was born that same summer, a stone’s throw away in Queens.

As I’ll explain later, Trump’s "nice guys finish last" attitude has thrown the other side off their game.  It has done him some good.  But it has hurt him too.

"One thing I've learned about the press is that they're always hungry for a good story, and the more sensational the better...The point is that if you are a little different, a little outrageous, or if you do things that are bold or controversial, the press is going to write about you."
Donald Trump, “Art of the Deal”, 1987

Donald Trump is a veteran media maestro.  His very business model – branding his name – was achieved in large measure by being controversial and getting free media.  For years, his tabloid antics helped keep his name in the spotlight, and the Trump name was emblazoned on every one of his properties and projects.  Any publicity was good publicity as far as Trump Inc. was concerned.

His presidential bid is using the same game plan.  By being “sensational”, “different”, “outrageous”, “bold”, and “controversial” he has managed to run a presidential race on the cheap with almost no staff or ground-game.  He’s been playing the media like a Stradivarius to get his name, face, and candidacy in the conversation every day.  That’s why he started this bid with the Obama birth certificate quest.  It made news. Trump is being sensational and outrageous by design.  Does he really think Mexico will pay for the wall?  Does he really think we should have seized Iraq’s oil?  All we know is what he reveals in his own book.

Last week was a vintage example of Trump playing the media.  He announced he was going to make a big statement about Barack Obama’s birthplace and invited all the media to a presser.  The networks all covered it live expecting a big announcement, but instead they got a lengthy parade of military endorsements for Trump.  At the very end he made a brief statement that Obama was born in the U.S.  The press went apoplectic.  They knew they’d been trolled.

By trolling the media, he has been able to provoke them into over-reactions that backfire.  The public knows that calling a bomb, “a bomb”, is not an unreasonable assertion.  The public knows that a temporary halt to unscreened Muslim immigration is not outrageous in the context of a global jihad that has declared war on us.

Granted, Trump has tweaked the media so often that nearly all his coverage is negative at this point.   But that doesn’t seem to concern him… yet.  He seems to be banking on his ability to go directly to the voters, a la Ronald Reagan.

"You can't con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don't deliver the goods, people will eventually catch on."                                                                                                                          Donald Trump, “Art of the Deal”, 1987

Donald Trump really likes to throw in some “hyperbole”.  Again, does he really believe Mexico will pay for that wall?  Can President Trump really Make America Great Again?  Will he really be the best jobs President God ever created?  Does he really think America’s going to win so much we are going to be tired of winning?  All we know is that he knows he has to “deliver the goods”.

And he has delivered.  He won the nomination, is rising in the polls, met with leaders from Mexico and Egypt and shockingly didn’t start any wars, has finally surrounded himself with competent campaign advisors, and has over-achieved by every single measure of a rank amateur in politics, let alone on the biggest stage - presidential politics.

He has also delivered the goods throughout his career.  No, not every project succeeded, as critics will point out.  But Steve Jobs had plenty of flops too along with his successes.  At least Trump never got booted from his own company.

“You always, when the service was over, you said, ‘I’d have sat there for another hour,’” Mr. Trump recalled. “There aren’t too many people like that. It wasn’t the speaking ability, it was the thought process.”
Donald Trump on Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, Minister at Marble Collegiate Church

Dr. Norman Vincent Peale is an often overlooked piece of the Donald Trump puzzle.  Beginning as a teenager, and continuing for decades,  he attended The Marble Collegiate Church, which was led by Dr. Peale, author of the bestselling book, "The Power of Positive Thinking".

The power of positive thinking, according to Peale, was that if you you could train your thought process to focus on positive visions of yourself, your abilities, your prospects, your achievements, etc., you could go as far as you wanted to go in life.  Nothing could stop you as long as you held firm to this positive picture.

Typical Peale quotes are:   "Change your thoughts and you change your world."   "There is a real magic in enthusiasm. It spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment."   "If you have zest and enthusiasm you attract zest and enthusiasm. Life does give back in kind."

You can hear echoes of Peale in every aspect of Trump's oversized positive image of himself, his abilities, and his accomplishments.  It's hard to deny Peale's power, though, when so many of those accomplishments are real.

“While he may be the billionaire from New York … he’s much more of a blue-collar guy.”
                                                                                                                          Donald Trump Jr., 2016

Back in the ‘80s and ‘90s, when Donald Trump was a household name and a fixture of the NY tabloids, I ran an industrial plant in the NY metropolitan area.  Trump was a surprisingly popular figure with the hourly plant workers, truck drivers, tradesmen, and office workers I worked with.  It struck me as odd that a brash billionaire with his name in big gold letters, flying around in a helicopter, with bejeweled arm-candy always at his side, could be a hero to these hard-working blue-collar workers.  Didn’t they know he was a “greedy one-percenter”?  (Though we didn’t talk like that back then.)  Didn’t they know he ran an “evil corporation”?  Didn’t they know he made “a profit”?  Didn’t they know he had a “yacht”?

Sure, they knew all that, but they also knew he was genuine, he shared their affection for pro wrestling, he was unabashed about his wealth, and he was having a good time.  Yes, he was having a really good time!  In short… they wanted to be like him. This was the American Dream they grew up hearing about.  It made him a working-class hero.

They also saw that Trump spoke more like a blue-collar guy than an elitist rich guy.  The lingua franca on New York construction sites was not what you hear coming out of the mouths of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.  Trump’s fluent blue-collar, sentence-fragment lingo is refreshing after eight years of Obama’s hyper-careful, faculty-lounge act.  Voters loved Obama’s erudition after George W. Bush’s seeming inability to speak fluent English, but after eight years, that act has worn thin for many.

Milton Friedman

I do not believe that the solution to our problem is simply to elect the right people. The important thing is to establish a political climate of opinion, which will make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing
                                                                                                                          Milton Friedman

Many Americans believe Hillary and Donald are precisely the wrong people.  But according to Dr. Friedman, they can still do the right thing under certain circumstances.

In 1992 Bill Clinton was elected president with far less than a majority of the electorate. Most Americans thought he too was the wrong person for the job.  In his first two years, he raised taxes and grew government.  The economy stagnated, and the stock market was soft.  As a result, Democrats lost big in the mid-term elections of 1994.   In came Newt Gingrich and The Contract With America. Weakened by scandal and the rout in ’94, Bill Clinton was forced to do the right thing.   He lowered taxes, supported free trade, declared an end to big government, and supported welfare reform.  The economy and the stock market went on a tear, all without the aid of zero percent interest rates like today.  The budget got nearly balanced.   And to this day Bill Clinton is known for the strong economy that came after he "triangulated" and reluctantly agreed to many of the planks of Newt's contract.  Bill Clinton was forced to do the right thing despite being the wrong person.

Can the electorate make it "politically profitable" for Hillary or Donald to do the right thing despite being the wrong people?  Based on the example of Barack Obama, I think we have a much better shot if our next "wrong person" is not a "historical first" from a politically favored class of citizens.

Donald Trump will not be coddled by the media, or Hollywood, or academia, or anyone.  He will not be given the benefit of any doubt.  It will be politically unprofitable for him to do the wrong thing.

Hillary Clinton?   As the historic "First Woman President"?  Darling of the media, academia, Hollywood, etc.?  On what basis can anyone think she will be held to account when she never has been before?

Think Tanks

We think we are choosing a single person to be President, but it’s not that simple.

Aaron Klein, a journalist based in Israel, has written extensively about what Barack Obama is going to do before he even does it.  Does Mr. Klein have some prophetic powers acquired in the Holy Land?  No, he simply reads the policy papers from The Center for American Progress (CAP).  Apparently, so does Obama.  In fact, he delegates their policies to the letter, and then goes golfing.

Just the other day, Donald Trump came out with a detailed proposal for school funding.   Did he just think up this plan in-between campaign stops?  No, he got it from a think tank.

And that’s the point.  Presidents lean heavily on their think tanks.  For Democrats it’s CAP, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Human Rights Watch, and George Soros’ Open Societies Institute.  For Republicans it’s The Heritage Foundation, American Enterprise Institute, Hoover Institution, and Freedom House.

There’s an army of very qualified eggheads on both sides who will conceive and implement any presidential priorities. Trump’s lack of government experience is irrelevant in that context.

Saul Alinsky

To paraphrase Leon Trotsky, you may not be interested in Saul Alinsky, but Saul Alinsky  is very interested in you.  The late Saul Alinsky is the most influential political strategist of our time.  Barack Obama went into community organizing because of Saul Alinsky, settled in Chicago because of Alinsky, and taught Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” as an instructor.  Hillary Clinton knew Alinsky, corresponded with him in college, and wrote her college thesis on Alinsky.

Prior to Alinsky, politics was always a dirty business, but what he did was radicalize the Left.  His 1971 book, “Rules for Radicals” has become the tactical political bible of the Left.  The Right paid little attention to Alinsky’s influence and never had an effective counterstrategy.

Until Trump, that is.  Trump’s own book, “The Art of the Deal”, is kind of a “Rules for Radical Businessmen”.  Donald Trump is a natural-born Alinsky antidote.  His ability to “fight back very hard”,  and take a “nice guys finish last” approach, has thrown the Left off it’s game.

The radical Alinsky tactics are not working as effectively on Donald Trump as they did on gentleman GOPers like George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, and John McCain.  They were all turned into Hitler caricatures via the Alinsky tactics.  It is sad to say this, but running a race for president as a GOP gentleman is an enormous liability in this radicalized Democrat/Alinsky age.

The Trump Family

Donald Trump has been quoted as saying he was a lousy husband, but a good father.  I believe he is right.  His kids are all amazing.  They are not typical billionaire ne’er-do-wells.  They all work in the family business, are doing great things, are stable citizens, and aren’t taking salaries from the family charitable foundation, as Chelsea Clinton appears to be doing.

If his kids are a reflection of him, and to a person they claim to be, Donald Trump looks pretty good as a human being.

What was, What is, and What may be

Perhaps Trump’s biggest advantage in this race is his lack of government experience.  No matter what you think of Donald Trump, you cannot be certain what he will do as President because he has never even held a public office.  Everything negative ever said about a prospective Trump presidency, is exactly that - prospective.

Not so with Hillary Clinton.  The Clintons have a detailed track record stretching back some forty years in public life.  If you are among those who have followed the Clintons closely, you know exactly what you would get: impeachment, scandal, sexual assault, intimidation, credible rape allegations, perjury, corruption, selling U.S. policy to the highest bidder, disgracing the office of the Presidency, etc.  A whole vocabulary has been added to the lexicon to describe the Clinton's malfeasance, with the key word being: "Clintonian".

Think of the worst thing Donald Trump has ever done.  Now think of the worst thing Hillary Clinton has ever done.  Only one of them did that as a government employee, on the tax-payer’s dime, and under an oath-of-office.

Conclusion

Think about this:  a complete neophyte, who’s never run for dog-catcher, let alone national office, with a bad haircut, a penchant for controversy, and a shocking lack of decorum, has obtained the GOP nomination against a seasoned field, and is now nearly tied for President with a person described by President Obama as, “the most qualified person to ever run for President.”

Moreover, we are a country of the Left.  The demographics are Left, the culture is Left, and the electoral map is Left.  Hillary Clinton, a candidate of the Left, was supposed to be untouchable, the political equivalent of a Death Star in a pantsuit.

And yet, here we are weeks away from the election, and Donald Trump is within striking distance.  Remission is within reach, but for that to happen, every skeptic must do their due diligence.

Inner Cities, Islam, and Nuclear Physics

Can Nuclear physics teach us anything about what's going on in Charlotte, NC?  How about Islam and jihad?

Nuclear explosions occur when there are sufficient unstable atoms packed into a tight space, and then induced into a chain reaction by releasing radicalized unbound nuclear particles into that unstable mass.

Bananas are slightly radioactive, as are some rocks in your backyard.  But no matter how hard you try, you won't be able to induce a nuclear chain reaction in a banana or rock because the stable atoms that make-up the majority will prevent an explosion.

What's happening in Charlotte, and for that matter in every one of these cities that have rioted, is of two parts that exactly mirror the nuclear model.  Part one is the packing into a tight space of unstable elements.  Three generations of progressive policies in American inner cities, with federal support, have decimated the family structure.  The pathologies that result have been well documented and are irrefutable.  The local economies are weak , crime prevails, education is dismal, and single parents struggle to raise stable children.  It is a tightly packed unstable mass.

Add to that mix some radicalization.  A President who promotes radical movements in the inner city, has Al Sharpton as a top liaison, who denigrates the judicial system, who berates law enforcement, and who sees racism in every event, is a catalyst, not a stabilizing force.  Obama's DOJ actually has a unit called Community Relations Services which goes into these riot torn cities to support and organize the rioters.

Then there's social media.  In Charlotte, a rumor was circulated that the deceased man was armed with nothing but a book.  The fact that the black Police Chief said it was a gun, not a book, had no effect because the radicalization of those in the street has unbound them from reason.  Thus, a non-complying armed black belligerent who is shot by a black cop in a city with a black Police Chief becomes a racial incident.

It is the exact analogy for what has happened in the Islamic world.  Part one is Islam itself.  Not radical Islam, but plain-old everyday Islam.  Wherever Islam is dominant there is a constellation of pathologies that result:  unstable cultures, unstable economies, unstable families, and unstable individuals.  Women are treated poorly, gays are put to death, children are beaten, infidels are killed or driven out.  This is not the exception.  This is the norm under Islam.

Add to that unstable mix some radicalization by a cleric or politician,  and the jihad chain reaction takes place.

The proper response is to create stability within these unstable masses, and prevent radicalization. Easier said than done, I know.  But a good place to start might be to end the progressive stranglehold on inner city policies.  For jihad, perhaps we should throttle back on the importation of Islam into our country.  We need to stabilize these unstable masses, and turn them into bananas and rocks.

S.S. Trump vs. Obama's Legacy

As long as I'm on this Caddyshack/Trump/Dangerfield kick, I would be remiss if I didn't post this tidbit following Barack Obama, peace be upon him, going full radical cleric at the Black Caucus Foundation rally.

If you haven't seen it, watch here as Obama whips his audience into a frenzy over how it would be an insult if blacks don't vote Hillary, not because it would be an insult to her, but to HIS LEGACY!

(I realize the GIF may offend some precious snowflakes, but I'm pretty sure the stand-up-comedian-in-chief himself would chuckle at this vintage Caddyshack clip.)

S.S. Trump vs. Bush Yacht

Is anyone surprised to learn that George H.W. Bush will vote for Hillary Clinton?

Donald Trump reminds me of the Rodney Dangerfield character in Caddyshack, where incidentally the Golf club was named BUSHwood, and he has dropped anchor on the Bush family yacht.  Make that... yachts.

The more this race goes on, the more it resembles Caddyshack with Trump as Dangerfield upsetting the clubby establishment.

"Hey, you scratched my anchor!"  Love that scene...

Moderate Muslims

A friend of mine, who was killed in The World Trade Center on 9/11, wrote an amazingly ironic passage in a letter from 1987 while traveling in Indonesia.   His travel companion was an Israeli/New Zealander named David who was using his New Zealand passport because Indonesia didn't allow Israeli citizens into the country.  Carl wrote, "On arriving, I noted that they [the Indonesians] seemed to be laid back Muslims, which David implied was impossible."

I'd never seen that letter until this year.   It took my breath away.

I bring this up in the context of the most recent terror attacks and the political debate about what to do with Muslim immigration and refugees.

Perhaps it all boils down to whether one has a Carl view, or a David view, of Islam?

Memory Hole - 9/11 Edition

Today, being the fifteenth anniversary of 9/11, I'd like to remind folks that the 9/11 attack was conceived, planned, funded, staffed, trained, and scheduled, during the last Clinton administration. Osama bin Laden was well known to the Clintons, al Qaeda had declared war on the U.S., they had attacked the U.S., and there were multiple foregone opportunities to take them out.  The jihad had already tried once to bring down the World Trade Center towers during the Clinton administration in 1993.

That's the kind of excellent vision and competence we would be getting with a new Clinton administration.

So could Donald Trump be any better?  Here's what he said almost two years before 9/11:
“I really am convinced we’re in danger of the sort of terrorist attacks that will make the bombing of the Trade Center look like kids playing with firecrackers,” wrote Trump in his 2000 book, The America We Deserve. “No sensible analyst rejects this possibility, and plenty of them, like me, are not wondering if but when it will happen.”
Trump even mentions Osama bin Laden by name, in a criticism of an American foreign policy that too quickly jumps from one crisis to the next.
“One day we’re told that a shadowy figure with no fixed address named Osama bin-Laden is public enemy number one, and U.S. jetfighters lay waste to his camp in Afghanistan,” The Donald wrote. “He escapes back under some rock, and a few news cycles later it’s on to a new enemy and new crisis.”
           Source: Buzzfeed

Also remember, the Obama/Clinton team, despite their claims, had nothing to do with getting bin Laden. This is like the rooster claiming responsibility for the sunrise.  Obama and Hillary opposed every single policy set in motion by the George W. Bush administration that actually led to the successful raid on bin Laden's compound in Afghanistan.

As I've stated many times before, my Labradoodle had more to do with getting bin Laden than Barack Hussein Obama, peace be upon him, or Hillary Rodham Clinton:

David Bossie - Living Dangerously

Donald Trump has done it now- he has hired David Bossie.  For those who don't know who David Bossie is, he is the anti-Christ, Voldemort, and the most dangerous man alive to Democrats - especially to Hillary Clinton.  David Bossie is the guy who won the SCOTUS case known as "Citizens United v.  FEC".

Citizens United was a case about a documentary called "Hillary, The Movie", critical of Hillary Clinton, which came out during the 2008 presidential race.  Democrats contended that showing the film was an illegal campaign contribution.  David Bossie claimed it was free speech protected by the first amendment.  He won.  Democrats have never forgiven him or the justices who ruled in his favor. That's why they "danced in the streets" at the death of Antonin Scalia. That's why Obama berated the Supreme Court justices seated in front of him during the State of the Union address in 2010.  And that's why one of the biggest applause lines at the recent DNC convention was about overturning Citizens United.

Now David Bossie is in charge of voter turnout for Donald Trump.  Say what you will about the seriousness of Trump's efforts to mount an organized campaign in the traditional sense, the inclusion of David Bossie is further evidence that Trump is playing to win.

Apparently, David Bossie likes to live dangerously.  Not only was he the winner of the Citizens United case, he is also one of the film-makers  targeted by the Democrats.  This targeted group includes film-makers who have been audited by the IRS,  had their sponsors harassed by the government, and some have even been imprisoned.

Here's a list of the film-makers targeted by the Democrats:

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, an Egyptian born Christian who made a YouTube video critical of Mohammed, was the ultimate political prisoner.  He was the scapegoat blamed by Obama and Clinton for the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, so they put him in prison for a year on dubious tangential charges.  Nakoula's imprisonment was orchestrated to distract from the failure of Obama and Clinton to protect and defend their people in Libya, and to divert attention from the increasing risk of Islamic terrorism which they claimed to have defeated.  The diversion worked, and they got reelected.

Joel Gilbert:  Mr. Gilbert made an anti-Obama film called "Dreams From My Real Father".  It drew the ire of Democrats on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) who voted unanimously to punish Mr. Gilbert.  When Republicans pointed out that liberal filmmakers like Michael Moore were not similarly harassed, the punishment was eventually blocked. Were it not for the split FEC, Mr. Gilbert would have been sanctioned for making a movie critical of Barack Obama.

Dinesh D'Souza: Mr. D'Souza admitted giving more money than was allowed by federal law to a college friend who was running for office.  More importantly though, he made a couple of anti-Obama films in 2012 and 2013.  As a result of the ostensible campaign finance violation, he was confined for eight months, put on five months probation, and forced to undergo psychological counseling.   Here's what liberal Harvard legal scholar Alan Dershowitz said about his conviction and sentence:
“The idea of charging him with a felony for this doesn’t sound like a proper exercise of prosecutorial discretion.... I can’t help but think that [D'Souza's] politics have something to do with it.... It smacks of selective prosecution.” He went on to say such alleged campaign violations are common in politics.
Dinesh D'Souza has a new successful film currently in theaters called "Hillary's America".  My advice to Dinesh -  pack your bags for another stint...)

David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt:  These two were behind the Planned Parenthood undercover videos made by The Center for Medical Progress.  Barack Obama himself made a point to single them out.  As part of their cover they used fake IDs that somehow became a pretense for felony charges, a raid on Daleidon's home, and seizures of his property.
“To storm into a private citizen’s home with a search warrant is outrageously out of proportion for the type of crime alleged,” said Matt Heffron a former federal prosecutor who is now Daleiden’s legal adviser. “It’s a discredit to law enforcement, an oppressive abuse of government power.”
As of August 6th, 2016, all charges in Texas were been dropped against Daleiden.  But the damage is done, he was sidelined for the primaries, and his funding is gone.  The harassment succeeded.)

James O'Keefe, Joseph Basel, Robert Flanagan, and Stan Dai: These people were part of James O'Keefe's undercover video organization, Project Veritas, the organization that single-handedly took down one of Obama's favorite community organizer activist groups, ACORN. They went on to investigate Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu and ran afoul of the FBI while trying to make a film about her. They eventually settled for misdemeanor charges and accepted probation, fines, and community service.  O'keefe has also been harassed by Obama's DHS for making films about the open Mexican border.

Logan Clements: Mr. Clements made a movie called "Sick and Sicker...", an unflattering portrayal of Obamacare.  For his disloyalty he was handed his first ever IRS audit.

Breitbart News:  Breitbart News also earned their first IRS audit.   Breitbart is a multi-media internet megaphone that is foursquare opposed to Obama's policies.  (Also, see David Bossie below who contributes occasionally to Breitbart.)

Glenn Beck, Pat Grey, and Scott Baker:  Glenn Beck and his Blaze Network don't just make videos, they have an entire broadcast network, publish books, run a website, and do talk radio,  all of which opposes Barack Obama's policies.  So yeah, these guys all got their first IRS audits .  But that's not all.  Glenn Beck's top sponsor, GoldLine, was targeted by Democrats, specifically congressman Anthony Weiner, still the husband of Hillary's right hand person Huma Abedin, and a known political hit-man for Democrats and Obama.  Weiner resigned his House seat in scandal, but his recently separated wife will play a major role in a possible Clinton administration.

David Bossie and James Bopp:  These men were behind the aforementioned Citizens United SCOTUS case. David Bossie runs CU and James Bopp was the lawyer who defended the first amendment. The case centered around CU's right to make and show a film, in this case an unflattering portrait of Hillary Clinton. They won the case at the SCUTUS, but ran afoul of Obama and the entire Left who believe the first amendment only applies to Michael Moore and The New York Times. Hence, in front of the entire world, during a state of the union address, Barack Obama publicly berated the justices who upheld the first amendment rights of filmmakers, thus sending a message to justices, filmmakers, and supporters of people who make films: oppose me and I will use the Bully Pulpit to bully you.

Fox News - No list like this would be complete without mentioning Obama's number one target in the media and film world - Fox News.  Fox has been singled-out and harassed personally by Barack Obama on numerous occasions.  These attacks send a clear and chilling message to sponsors: Advertise on Fox and you will be the target of restrictive regulations, IRS audits, and federal harassment.   Interestingly, Fox just broke a record high for viewer ratings and its founder Roger Ailes has been forced to resign after a sexual harassment lawsuit was filed against him.

Julian Assange Hints At Source (UPDATED 8/22)

(UPDATE:  An intruder was spotted today, August 22nd, trying to scale the walls of the Ecuadorian embassy in London where Julian Assange has lived for the last four years.  The intruder successfully escaped capture.)

Four people with access to information potentially damaging to Hillary Clinton have assumed room temperature in the last four months.  All under mysterious circumstances.

John Jones (upper left), lawyer for WikiLeak's Julian Assange, was mysteriously struck and killed by a train on April 21st in London.

John Ashe (upper right), an ex- UN official, was about to testify in a case that involved the DNC and certain Arkansas connections of the Clintons when he was found dead in his home gym on June 22nd.  His throat was reportedly crushed by a barbell.

Seth Rich (lower left),  a DNC staffer with Clinton ties, was mysteriously beaten and gunned down in Washington, DC. on July 10th.  Mr. Rich's death occurred about two weeks before WikiLeaks released their first batch of DNC email.   WikiLeak's Julian Assange recently suggested Mr. Rich was his source.

Shawn Lucas (lower right) was found dead on August 2nd.  Mr. Lucas made a video that went viral showing him serving a lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. There are no reports yet of how he died.

Some have suggested I am engaging in "conspiracy theories" by listing these four mysterious deaths and noting their Clinton connections.  I am doing no such thing.  I am proposing no theories. Everything stated above is fact.  If you see a conspiracy here, that's on you.  If I was engaged in conspiracy theories, at a minimum I'd have mentioned the mysterious 1993 death of Clinton lawyer Vince Foster.  I purposely did not.

To this date, there are no credible murder allegations against the Clintons after almost four decades of public life.  There are however several credible rape allegations.

Some conspiracy theorists have suggested the Clinton body-count numbers about fifty.  Here is a short list of some of them with links to the full lists.

All Lies Matter, But Not All Are Equal

As I have stipulated many times, Donald Trump is full of shit.  In his own book, "The Art Of The Deal", he talks about the use of hyperbole (bullshit) and its limits.
"You can't con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don't deliver the goods, people will eventually catch on."
Many times during this race Trump has thrown in "a little hyperbole".

But let's compare that to Hillary Clinton.  Her lies are infinitely more significant.  She has lied in her capacity as a First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State, about really important things like people being killed, national security, classified information, corruption, selling state access, and on and on and on.

Hillary Clinton demonstrated her jaw dropping capacity for absolutely inexcusable lies just this past Sunday while talking to Chris Wallace.  Watch the side by side comparison of Hillary talking to Wallace vs. her taped comments the day the Benghazi coffins arrived in the U.S.:

Remember, Hillary also promised to lock-up the filmmaker, which she actually did!  Nakoula Basseley Nakoula was imprisoned for a year.

Are The Khans a Con?

Wow.  If just ten percent of this is true, The Khans, the new darlings of the Democrat Party, are radical muslim extremists with deep ties to terror organizations.  It's all here in a piece by Theodore and Walid Shoebat that dropped 7/31 on their website,  Shoebat.com

Here are some pull-quotes:
The Muslim who attacked Donald Trump, Khizr Muazzam Khan, is a Muslim Brotherhood agent, working to bring Muslims into the United States.

Khan’s fascination with Islamic Sharia stems from his life in Saudi Arabia.

Khan wrote the paper in the eighties while he was in Saudi Arabia, the motherland of Wahhabism, which means that Khan clearly had a Wahabist connection.

It is likely that Khan is a Muslim plant working with the Hillary Clinton campaign, probably for the interest of Muslim oil companies as well as Muslim immigration into the U.S.

Saudi interests with using Khan to advance Muslim immigration and advance Muslim Sharia is a lengthy subject. And it has ties to Hillary Clinton’s aid Huma Abedin as well.

It is obvious that Khan is upset, that a Trump victory will eliminate and destroy decades of hard work to bring in Islamic immigration into the United States which was spearheaded by agents in Saudi Arabia like Khan and Huma Abedin’a father (Sayed Z. Abedin).

Is it likely that Khan’s son was killed before his Islamist mission was accomplished? Only another type of investigation will determine that.

Update1 - 8/1/16: Having been exposed, the Khans are now saying, "We want out of this controversy."

Update2 - 8/2/16:  Now that it is clear that Khizr Khan's role is to bring muslims into the U.S., and that Donald Trump is a threat to that project, more people need to be aware of the word "hijrah".  Hijrah is jihad through demographic invasion.  Jihad is more than just killing people, terrorizing them, or getting them to submit to Islam.  It also involves overcoming the infidels through demographics, ie hijrah.  Hijrah is what we are witnessing in Europe.  Therefore, the real scandal regarding Khizr Khan at the DNC convention is that the Democrat Party openly supports the hijrah jihad.

Update3 - 8/2/16:  Khizr Khan has deleted the website for his law practice, which exposed that his practice was in fact devoted to facilitating muslim immigration into the U.S. using visa programs akin to selling citizenship.  Luckily there is the Wayback Machine at Archive.org.  Here is the archived site.

(Back to the original post...)  Again, we don't know if any of this will hold up under scrutiny, but if it does, here are some questions:

Will this hurt Hillary Clinton?  (No.  Remember, a domestic terrorist named Bill Ayres had deep ties to Barack Obama and he paid no price for it thanks to the pop media flushing it down the memory hole.)

Will this report be swept down the memory hole? (Yes)

Will the media acknowledge Donald Trump's good instincts about the Khans?  (Never)

Will any media outlet other than a Murdoch operation and a few web based ones ever report this? (No)

Could Khizr Khan be the next Mayor of NYC or Washington D.C.?  (Sure)

Who Killed Seth Rich?

(UPDATED 8/6 to include two three other deaths of people who could have had potentially damaging information on Hillary Clinton and the DNC.)

On July 10th, a 27 year old DNC staffer named Seth Rich was mysteriously shot and killed in Washington, DC.  RIP.  I say mysteriously because nothing was taken, the neighborhood was not known for random shootings, he wasn't a gang member, wasn't a cop, and had no criminal or drug history. There were no witnesses, and so far no videos.

What makes this interesting is what this man's job was; he was a data guy at the DNC.  His specific area was in expanding voter rolls, you know, the kind of thing Democrats have been known for, like getting cemeteries, felons, illegals, Disney characters, etc. to vote Democrat.

That might be interesting by itself, but what makes it even more interesting is that 10 days later, WikiLeaks began releasing hacked content from DNC servers.

Could Seth Rich have been the leak?  Could he have been murdered by the target, or the recipient?Could he have been selling data?  Will we ever know?  Could blaming the Russians be a diversion like the filmmaker in Benghazi?

I generally avoid trafficking in conspiracy theories, but murder is, to quote Joe Biden, "a big fucking deal."  Questions need to be answered.  What was this man doing at the DNC?  What was his access? What do his family and friends know about his activities? Who investigated and went to his home? Was anything taken?  Does WikiLeaks even know the source of their material?

I'm sure the investigative "journalists" in the pop media will be all over this mystery.  Not.  And that alone speaks volumes.

UPDATE!!!:

There have now been a total of three four mysterious deaths surrounding Hillary Clinton and the DNC.

John Jones, lawyer for WikiLeak's Julian Assange, was mysteriously struck and killed by a train on April 21st in London.

John Ashe, an ex- UN official about to testify in a case that involved the DNC and certain Arkansas connections of the Clintons, was found dead in his home gym June 22nd.  His throat was reportedly crushed by a barbell.

Shawn Lucas was found dead on August 2nd.  Mr. Lucas made a video that went viral showing him serving a lawsuit against the DNC's Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Hillary Clinton.  There are no reports yet about how he died.

The Clinton War on Women

Tonight's keynote speaker at the #DNCconvention will be a multiple accused rapist, and coincidentally, the most popular non-serving politician in the Democrat Party.  That makes his wife, who enabled his behavior throughout his career, an accessory to rape.  She of course is Hillary Clinton, the Democrat Party's nominee.

Support NoMoreClintons.org and help make this video trend on Bill's big night.   Help end the Clinton War on Women!

Are Democrats Targeting Filmmakers?

(UPDATED 8/6 to include the death of videomaker Shawn Lucas.)

If you watched day #1 of the DNC convention, you would know that enemy #1 for the Democrats, tied even with Donald Trump, is a SCOTUS decision known as "Citizens United".   This was a legal dispute that centered around a film about Hillary Clinton which Democrats tried to suppress using the McCain-Feingold campaign finance restrictions.  Democrats lost the case opening the floodgates for filmmakers to make movies and, gasp, show them to the public.  By the anger and vitriol aimed at this case one would think the SCOTUS was selling baby parts or something!

Here is a list of other filmmakers the Democrats hate so much they have sent some to prison, had some audited by the IRS, and have used just about every tentacle of government to try to bully them into submission:

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, an Egyptian born Christian who made a YouTube video critical of Mohammed, was the ultimate political prisoner.  He was the scapegoat blamed by Obama and Clinton for the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, so they put him in prison for a year on dubious tangential charges.  Even Vladimir Putin was incredulous.  Nakoula's imprisonment was orchestrated to distract from the failure of Obama and Clinton to protect and defend their people in Libya, and to divert attention from the increasing risk of Islamic terrorism which they claimed to have defeated.  The diversion worked, of course, and they got reelected.

(Uptdate:  Dinesh D'Souza has a new film currently in theaters called "Hillary's America",  which is doing quite well.  My advice to Dinesh?  Pack your bags for another stint...)

(Update: Breaking news!  As of today, all charges in Texas have been dropped against Daleiden.  But the damage is done, his funding dried up, he was sidelined for the primaries, and the harassment succeeded.)

Coincidence?  Perhaps.

Breitbart News:  This could be another amazing coincidence, but Breitbart News also earned their first IRS audit.   Breitbart is a multi-media internet megaphone that is foursquare opposed to Obama's policies.  (Also, see David Bossie below who contributes occasionally to Breitbart.)

Glenn Beck, Pat Grey, and Scott Baker:  Another amazing coincidence?  Glenn Beck and his Blaze Network don't just make videos,  they have an entire broadcast network, publish books, run a website, and do talk radio,  all of which opposes Barack Obama's policies.  So yeah, these guys all got their first IRS audits .  But that's not all.  Glenn Beck's top sponsor, GoldLine, was targeted by Democrats, specifically congressman Anthony Weiner, husband of Hillary's right hand person Huma Abedin, and a known political hit-man for Democrats and Obama.  Weiner resigned his House seat in scandal, but his wife will play a major role in a possible Clinton administration.

No list like this would be complete without mentioning Obama's number one target in the media and film world - Fox News.  Fox has been singled-out and harassed personally by Barack Obama on numerous occasions.  These attacks send a clear and chilling message to sponsors:  Advertise on Fox and you will be the target of restrictive regulations, IRS audits, and federal harassment.   (Update: Fox just broke a record high for viewer ratings, and its founder Roger Ailes has been forced to resign after a sexual harassment lawsuit was filed against him.)

Are Democrats targeting certain filmmakers, or are these all just coincidences?  You decide...

UPDATE:
Shawn Lucas, who made a viral video about serving a lawsuit against the DNC's Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Hillary Clinton, was found dead on August 2nd.   It is too early to know how or why he died.

Shawn Lucas is the third fourth mysterious death surrounding the DNC and the Clintons in four months. See here.

Alinsky vs. Alinsky

What would you think if your favorite football team had access to their opponent’s playbook but refused to study it?  I’m not talking about Bill Belichick stealing a playbook from the other side.  No, I’m talking about being handed it on a silver platter and still failing to read it, study it, or devise a strategy to defeat it.  That is exactly what has been happening in the last batch of presidential races lost by Republicans.

The playbook is called “Reveille for Radicals” and “Rules for Radicals”, a pair of books by the father of community organizing, Saul Alinsky.  Together they form a playbook laid out over forty-five years ago to “rub raw the sores of discontent” and mobilize a redistributive revolution.  It was the playbook followed by Bill Clinton and Barack Obama in their presidential runs.  It is now the playbook of Hillary Clinton in her run.

Obama taught Alinsky’s playbook as a community organizer and according to Michelle Obama herself, he quoted Alinsky on their first date.  More than anyone else in public life, Obama has employed the playbook diligently, and to great effect.  Hillary wrote her thesis on Alinsky, knew him, and carried on a correspondence with him.  She will likely do the same.

For the last forty-five years this has been a one sided fight.  Republicans failed to understand the power of Alinsky’s model.  They failed to take the playbook seriously, failed to study it, and never developed a strategy to counter it.  Mitt Romney still doesn't understand what hit him in 2012.

Donald Trump brings that tradition to a grinding halt.  That’s not to say he has even read a single word Alinsky wrote.  He may not even know his name.  But Donald Trump is a natural born Alinskyite.  His own book, “The Art of the Deal”, is a kind of a businessman’s “Rules for Radicals”.  Trump's take-no-prisoners style and nice-guys-finish-last approach are right out of the Alinsky playbook.  Out of necessity and natural inclination, Trump has had to cut out the middleman and apply these tactics himself, which is a 180 degree departure from the normal politically correct Alinskyite approach.  Trump had neither time nor a willing community in the GOP to organize.

The Democrats have never been in this position before.  They have never had to face a committed Alinskyite opponent.   Though Trump is self-taught in the art of “rubbing raw the sores of discontent”, using “ridicule as his most potent weapon” (That’s what all those stupid nicknames are about.), and all the other aspects of Alinskyism, he is rather effective.  The Left no longer has exclusive use of these divisive, dangerous, but highly effective tactics.  Payback is a bitch, and Trump is that bitch.

That’s not to say Trump will waltz to victory based on the leveling of the Alinsky playing field.  The Left is still the dominant force in America today.  Demographics and nearly every lever of pop culture skew that way.  Media, academia, entertainers, actors, musicians, etc. all skew Left.  The most assigned economist at U.S. colleges is still Karl Marx, and it’s not even close.  Google, Apple, Facebook, and Twitter, with all their power to control information and opinion are all skewed Left.  The massive bureaucracies of government at the local, state, and federal level are all unionized, Leftist, and highly motivated.

On the flip side, the counter-culture as personified by Donald Trump is diffuse, disorganized, and with nary a voice in pop culture.  It's going to be a lonely uphill battle for Donald Trump.

But Donald Trump may actually know more Alinsky than he lets on.  Consider one of his final thoughts from his GOP convention speech:

“Nobody knows the system better than me, which is why I alone can fix it.”

This reminded me of a quote from “Rules for Radicals”:

“The organizer’s job is to inseminate an invitation for himself, to agitate, introduce ideas, get people pregnant with hope and a desire for change and to identify you as the person most qualified for this purpose.”

This election is shaping up to be a two-way Alinsky battle royale.   Buckle your seatbelts...

Barack [REDACTED] Obama's Filmmaker Enemies List

The House Benghazi report was released today, and it proves among other things that blaming the attack on a film was an Obama and Clinton lie.  To help legitimize the lie they went so far as to arrest the filmmaker, convict him on dubious tangential charges, and jail him for a year.

Nakoula Baselley Nakoula, an Egyptian born Christian, was the ultimate political prisoner.    He was imprisoned to distract from the failure of Obama and Clinton to protect and defend their people in Libya, and to divert attention from the increasing risk of Islamic terrorism which they claimed to have defeated.   The diversion worked and they got reelected.

But Baselley is just one of many filmmakers harassed by Barack [REDACTED] Obama and his surrogates.  Here is a list of some of the others:

Joel Gilbert, Dinesh D'Souza, David Daleiden, Sandra Merritt, James O'Keefe, Joseph Basel, Robert Flanagan, Stan Dai, Logan Clements, Breitbart News, Glenn Beck, Pat Gray, Scott Baker, David Bossie, James Bopp, and Fox News.

Remember those are just the filmmakers.  Others who write books, blogs, screenplays, articles, do comedy, make music, do talkshows, or run businesses have also been audited by the IRS, raided by various government agencies, or targeted by leftist surrogates under the Obama regime.

Here are the basic details of the harassed filmmakers listed above:

Joel Gilbert:  Mr. Gilbert made an anti-Obama film called "Dreams From My Real Father".  It drew the ire of Democrats on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) who voted unanimously to punish Mr. Gilbert.  When Republicans pointed out that liberal filmmakers like Michael Moore were not similarly harassed by GOP FEC members, the move was eventually blocked. Were it not for the split FEC, Mr. Gilbert would have been punished for making a movie critical of Obama.

Dinesh D'Souza: Mr. D'Souza admitted giving more money than was allowed by federal law to a friend who was running for office.  More importantly though, he made a couple of anti-Obama films in 2012 and 2013.  As a result of the ostensible campaign finance violation he was confined for eight months, put on five months probation, and forced to undergo psychological counseling.   Here's what liberal Harvard legal scholar Alan Dershowitz said about his conviction and sentence:

“To storm into a private citizen’s home with a search warrant is outrageously out of proportion for the type of crime alleged,” said Matt Heffron a former federal prosecutor who is now Daleiden’s legal adviser. “It’s a discredit to law enforcement, an oppressive abuse of government power.”
James O'Keefe, Joseph Basel, Robert Flanagan, and Stan Dai: These people were part of James O'Keefe's undercover video organization, Project Veritas, the organization that single-handedly took down one of Obama's favorite community organizer activist groups, ACORN. They went on to investigate Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu and ran afoul of the FBI while trying make a film about her ignoring her constituents during the Obamacare run-up. They eventually settled for misdemeanor charges and accepted probation, fines, and community service.  O'keefe has also been harassed by Obama's DHS for making a movie about the open southern border.

Logan Clements: Mr. Clements made a movie called "Sick and Sicker...", an unflattering portrayal of Obamacare.  For his disloyalty he was handed his first ever IRS audit.  Coincidence?  You judge.

Breitbart News:  OK, this could also be coincidence, but Breitbart News is a multi-media powerhouse that is foursquare opposed to Obama's policies.   They also coincidently earned their first IRS audit.  (Also, see David Bossie below who writes for Breitbart.)

Glenn Beck, Pat Grey, and Scott Baker: Ditto above.  Glenn Beck and his Blaze Network don't just make videos.  They have an entire broadcast network, publish books, run a website, and do talk radio. All of it opposes Barack [REDACTED] Obama's policies.  So yeah, these guys all got their first audits by the IRS.  But that's not all.  Beck's top sponsor was targeted by Democrats and specifically by congressman Anthony Weiner, husband of Hillary's right hand person, Huma Abedin, and a known political hit-man for Democrats and Obama.  Weiner resigned his House seat in scandal, but his wife will play a major role in a possible Clinton administration.

No list like this would be complete without mentioning Obama's number one target in the media and film world - Fox News.  Fox has been singled-out and harassed personally by Barack [REDACTED] Obama on numerous occasions.  These attacks sent a clear and chilling message to sponsors.  Ask yourself this: would you advertise on Fox News if you knew restrictive regulations, IRS audits, and federal harassment were disproportionately doled out to Obama's enemies?   Ironically, Fox just broke a record high for viewer ratings.

Are all these just coincidences?  You decide.

UPDATE:  If the subject of Obama's enemies lists interests you, read this piece by Mark Hyman in the American Spectator, Obama's Enemies List, written one month after he took office.  And this follow up, Obama's Enemies List Grows.  Oh, and this one too, Obama's Real Enemies List.

Trump would-be-assassin tries to grab cops gun!

Some nut declared his desire to kill Donald Trump Saturday, and then tried to grab a cops gun to do it.  Which is weird because, as we've been told, you can just go into any 7-11 and buy an AR-15 with no questions asked!

Whatever.  As I've documented before, Republicans are much more likely to be shot because the guys doing the shooting are almost always from the left!   Here's how I broke it down in March of 2010:

Have you seen the many references to the mortal danger President Obama is in from potential assassins? The latest piece appeared today in the UK Guardian . I’m not surprised we are seeing these stories because racist whackos could be an additional threat for Obama, but make no mistake about it, Presidents face danger as all modern ones have found out.  That said, Barack Obama is statistically much safer than even George W Bush was!

The tragic fact is that virtually every modern president has been the subject of some kind of assassination attempt. Every one. That’s not to excuse it, but to highlight that danger is part of the office. The job is not for the faint-of-heart. Some nut is going to try and fly a plane into your house (Nixon, Clinton, Bush 43), or blow you up (Kennedy, Bush 41, Bush 43), or just try to shoot you (Truman, Kennedy, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush 43). And that is all of them post-WWII!

But, going back all the way, your chances of actually taking a bullet are almost twice as bad if you are a Republican. Five have been Republicans, (Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, Ford, Reagan) and three have been Democrats (Jackson, Truman, Kennedy).

As far as actual assassinations, three were Republicans (Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley) and only one was a Democrat (Kennedy). In short, your chances of being killed are three times worse if you are a Republican! Moreover, Kennedy, the only Democrat was a tax-cutting supply-sider. If you look at it that way, Barack Obama will die in his bed as an old man. Now, if he could only quit smoking…

No Fly / No Buy?

Democrats want us to use the "No Fly" terrorist watch list to keep jihadis from buying weapons. They are half right.

Everyone agrees there absolutely must be a way to prevent jihadis, mental incompetents, criminals, etc. from buying weapons.  The problem is the current No Fly list is inconsistent with the constitution. Democrats like it that way.  Anyone can end up on that list and there is no way of tracing how they got there.  The people are not notified before being put on the list, so they only find out when trying to fly somewhere.  The list is not biometric and therefore subject to error.     Once on the list it is an Orwellian Kafkaesque nightmare to get off the list.  And the list could be politicized. Yes, the list could be politicized.

Sound familiar?

This is exactly like the IRS BOLO (be on the lookout) watch list which targeted Tea Party, Christian, conservative, and Republican non-profits that applied for tax exempt status.  Democrats politicized the IRS and used their BOLO list to keep conservative groups from raising money for the last few election cycles.  It was perhaps the most chilling abuse of government power in my lifetime and no one, including the president, has paid a price for it legally or politically.

Republicans can be 100% certain that's exactly how a No Fly / No Buy list would work under another radical president.  Outspoken conservatives, constitutionalists, religious leaders, free marketers, NRA members, Bill of Rights advocates, etc. would soon find themselves stripped of their rights and unable to fly.

Fix the list.  Make it biometric.  Make it constitutional.  Apply due process.  Then use it to stop terrorists.

Watch Trey Gowdy make the due process case in 2015: (it's actually quite brilliant!)

One caveat:  Gowdy asks "Can you think of another constitutional right that is first chilled and then when you find out it's chilled you must then petition the government to get it back?"  He doesn't mention it, but this is exactly how the second amendment currently works.  It wasn't written that way, but that is how it has evolved and that is, I believe, it's major flaw.  (Details to follow...)
